Senate staffer accused of filming explicit sexual acts in courtroom threatens legal action
Senate staffer accused of filming himself having sex engaging in explicit sexual activity in a congressional hearing room is threatening legal action after being widely named on social media while also hinting at “poor judgment” during past.
Aidan Maese-Czeropski, legislative assistant to Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), did not directly address the porn video in his LinkedIn post Friday night, simply denying it.

bluntly admitted to an unrelated allegation that he accused Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
“It was a difficult time for me, because I was attacked for pursuing a political cause.
Although some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgment, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace,” Maese-Czeropski said.
“Any attempt to characterize my actions is a fabrication and I will consider the legal options available to me in these matters.
” He added: “As for the allegations regarding Congressman Max Miller, I have never met the Congressman and had no opportunity or reason to scold or confront him. Explicit video released Friday allegedly shows two men having sex on the podium of a Senate hearing room.
The Daily Caller, which obtained the pornographic material on Friday, reported that the video was filmed by a member of Congress in the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing room in the Hart Senate Office Building.
Although the agency did not name the employee in question, Maese-Czeropski’s name was later shared widely on social media.
It’s unclear whether the videos, which have not been independently verified by the Washington Examiner, would trigger a Senate investigation.
“We are aware of this and are looking into it,” a U.S. Capitol Police representative said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

Although the employee was not identified, the report refers to one of the individual’s public social media accounts, where he allegedly posted sexually explicit images and videos.
A spokesman for Cardin, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, told the Washington Examiner in a statement: “We have seen the media reports.
As this is a personnel matter and is under review, we will not be providing further comment at this time.
» As for the Miller incident, this week the Jewish lawmaker was speaking to a reporter when one of his staffers allegedly confronted him for shouting “Free Palestine.
” Miller identified Maese-Czeropski as the employee in an interview Friday.
